Address Report
Every house has had visitors before you. This report tells you who's known to have lived at a specific Toronto address, decade by decade — drawn from historical directories, published records, and other publicly available archival sources, the same kind you'd find at a library or archive, just researched and written up for you.

What you get
- A written report listing residents or occupants found at the address, by year or era where records allow.
- Occupations, name spellings, and other small details that show up in the source records, where available.
- Any notable extras uncovered along the way — a name change, a business run out of the house, a nearby landmark — if something turns up.
- Plain-language notes on where the trail goes cold, rather than guesses dressed up as facts.
What I need from you
Just the address, as complete as you have it (street number, street name, and if you know it, the cross streets or neighbourhood). A current or historical address both work.
Coverage: Toronto addresses only for now, and results depend on what survives in the historical record for that specific address and era. Some addresses turn up a rich trail; others turn up very little. If a search comes back thin, I'll tell you rather than pad the report.
Turnaround
Typically 3–5 business days from when I confirm the address and receive payment.
How it works
- Send the address via the request form.
- I'll confirm scope and send payment instructions (e-transfer or PayPal).
- Once paid, I research and write up the report, then send it your way as a PDF.
